DODA, Mar 6: Police today arrested a narcotics smuggler and recovered 450 grams of charas from his possession.
Police spokesman said that a police party from Police Station Doda laid a naka near Pul Doda and subjected one Bhushan Kumar, son of Prithvi Chand of Bhaderwah to frisking. From his possession, police recovered 450 grams of charas.
The smuggler was booked under Section 8/20 of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
Meanwhile, police during patrolling seized 40 pouches and 2 bottles of illicit liquor from one Suresh Kumar, son of Behari Lal of Jenote.
