JAMMU, Mar 3: Police today arrested two brothers for running illicit liquor manufacturing hub in Kotli Charka area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bishnah police station.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah police station conducted raid in a house at Kotli Charka and busted illicit liquor manufacturing hub.
Police team recovered 10 litres illicit liquor and 1500 litres lahan, which was later destroyed.
From the house, police arrested two brothers, who have been identified as Mangal Dass and Kewal Krishan, both sons of Sardari Lal, resident of Kotli Charka.
A case under FIR Number 28/16 under Section 48-A and B Excise Act has been registered at Bishnah police station and further investigation of the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah police station Inspector Paramjit Singh busted the illicit liquor manufacturing hub and arrested the accused under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
