SAMBA, May 31: A Police party of police station Bari-Brahmana headed by Inspector Yashpal Singh Jamwal, SHO P/S Bari-Brahmna under the supervision of Joginder Singh, SSP Samba, while on patrolling near KFC Sarore, apprehended two people Ajay Singh son of Ranjit Singh R/o W. No. 07, Bassi Kalan, Bari-Brahamana and Sunny Kumar son of Yash Pal R/o Karyal, Bari-Brahmna, along with 65 bottles and 60 bottles from former of Corex from latter (100 ml each) respectively,
The duo-alighted a Delhi bond bus near KFC and moved towards Bari-Brahamana by foot, but on seeing Police party they tried to escape from the spot. As Police party suspected something fishy questioned them and during their personal search, Corex bottles were recovered from their possession. Accordingly, a case, under FIR No. 66/2016 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at police station Bari-Brahamana and investigation started.
