TSRUS launches ‘Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme’

JAMMU, Mar 17: The Shri Ram Universal School (TSRUS) Samba launched ‘Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme-Shri Vidya’ worth Rs 10 lakh, here today.
It was disclosed in a press conference, organised by the School Management in its School premises.
Shri Ram, the founder of The Shri Ram Group, was instrumental in setting up premium educational institutions such as The Shri Ram College of Commerce SRCC and Lady Shri Ram College LSR for women, The leading institute of Delhi University. “The Shri Ram Schools are manifestations of the vision and passion of Manju Bharat Ram, a Padma Shri Awardee in 2013.”
The programme coincided with the presence of KC Mehta who enlightened the audience with the philosophy of The Shri Ram School.
Sanjeev Gupta, the chairman of the School communicated about the upcoming developments of the School and said that the School is offering a scholarship worth Rs 10 lakh wherein they would be conducting a scholarship exam.
He further added that the top 3 winners will receive a scholarship Rs 50000, followed by 30000 and 20000 thousand for the other seven runner ups. Remaining 150 students will receive a scholarship ranging from 3 thousand to 5 thousand.
Gupta also informed that the School is collaborating with the Sainik Schools across the country and will provide the similar training to its students, so that they can make a career in the Defence Services.
