TSC beats KSC in finals

RAJOURI, May 18: Thannamandi Sports Club (TSC) trounced Khan Sports Club (KSC) in the final match of the Thannamandi Cricket League, organised by Indian Army, here today.
Commanding Officer, 48 RR was chief guest of the valedictory function. He awarded both winner and runner-up teams with cash prizes of Rs 5000 and Rs 3000 along with certificates respectively.
Batting first, KSC scored 110 runs in the stipulated overs which was easily chased by the TSC and emerged winners of the tournament.
Tehsildar Thannamandi Sahil Ali Shah, 2IC 48 RR, SDPO Thannamandi, Dr Imtiaz Hussain, SHO Thannamandi Inspector Shoket Hussain and other officers were present during the event.
While speaking on the occasion, CO 48 RR said that Indian Army is always available for help of youth and will organise sports activities in future also, so that the local youth can excel in their respective sports.  He also congratulated the winning team for its brilliant performance throughout the tournament.
Trader Association president Arshad Nawaz Khan, president Press Council Thannamandi, Imran Khan, Mushtaq Khan and many others graced the event.
