Triple ‘A’ Performing Arts organizes ‘Showcase the Cultural Heritage’

UDHAMPUR, Dec 14: A colorful cultural event titled ‘Showcase the Cultural Heritage’ was organized by Triple “A” Performing Arts Reasi here at Shahid Bhagat Singh Parak, Udhampur, to showcase the cultural heritage of different tourist spots of Reasi and Udhampur districts.
The event was supported by Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Speaking on the occasion, Anam Khan, president of Triple “A” Performing Art’s said that this scintillating programme has created a history for being the first ever cultural event which was organized for 10 days and received overwhelming response from the spectators.
Exclusively meant for the pilgrims visiting tourist spots in Jammu region, the ‘Cultural Heritage Show’ was a unique variety of different cultural flowers and essences of Dogra culture which showcased the varied of dance traditions of the J&K.
Thousands of pilgrims and locals had the lifetime occasion to witness this cultural event. The performance of renowned and National awardees, Khem Raj & Party from Panjer performed Kud Dance. The artists who performed include Khem Raj, Shamsher Singh, Ranbir Thakur, Jarnal Singh, Lochan Singh, Rashpal Singh, Jewan Lal, Puran Chand, Krishan Chand, Joginder Kumar, Som Raj, Ashok Kumar, Jagdish Kumar, Shankar Singh and Sohan Lal.
Shadab Khan, event director, said that this unique cultural show was focused on Jammu’s traditional folk dances, besides showcasing Dogri and Pahari cultures. He added that all has been possible due to the personal involvement of Ministry of Culture, Government of India. “Each dance presentation, despite being different from the other in rhythm and pace, was artistically blended with each other so as to present their wonderful harmony and co-relation”, he added.
