Tributes paid to Rangil Singh

JAMMU, June 7: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today paid floral tributes to former minister, Rangil Singh on his second death anniversary.
A function was held at party office at Jammu wherein, senior leaders and workers paid their tributes to late leader who was one of the senior leaders of the party.
While paying tributes to Rangil Singh, party leaders recalled his contribution in strengthening party in Jammu region and his association with late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Three-time MLA, former Minister and senior vice president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rangil Singh had passed away two years back. Rangil Singh was member of the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the party.
He was elected to Legislative Assembly twice from RS Pura constituency and also represented Jammu West Assembly segment as well. He remained minister in the J&K Government and held the portfolios of Education, Revenue, Relief, Health and Medical Education.
At present he was senior vice president of PDP and also chairman of the MBS College of Engineering and Technology, Babliana -Jammu from the date of its inception since 1999. He was also the president of J&K Olympic Association and visited many countries in the world representing Indian Olympic Association.
Those who paid tributes to former minister included TS Bajwa, Ch Abdul Hamid, Ved Mahajan, FC Bhagat, RK Bali, Fallail Singh, Romesh Koul, Daman Bhasin, Rajinder Manhas, Amreek Singh Reen, Abdul Rashid Malik, Ch Hussain Ali Wafa, Satpal Singh Charak, Ashok Jogi, Sukhvinder Singh, Narinder Singh Raina and others.
