Training programme on GPF Rules concludes

JAMMU, Jan 28: A four day training programme on General Provident Fund (Central services) Rules concluded today at J&K Funds Organization, Jammu. The training programme was held in collaboration with the office of Accountant General (A& E), J&K and Ladakh.
The chief guest was Accountant General (Accounts & Entitlements), J&K and Ladakh Shourjo Chatterjee.
Speaking on the occasion, Accountant General emphasized need for synergic efforts between the State Government and the Accountant General’s office to ensure timely and accurate maintenance of accounts of the government.
Fayaz Ahmad Lone, Director General, J&K Funds Organisation, Iftikhaar Chowhan, Director Accounts & Treasuries, Jammu, Bharti Sambyal, Joint Director, Funds organisation, Jammu, Anudeep Kour, Deputy Director (Central) Funds Organisation, Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Senior Accounts Officer and Karan Singh, Senior Accounts Officer from the office of Accountant General, J&K and other senior officers of the Finance Department were present on the occasion.
Director General, J&K Funds Organisation thanked Accountant General (A&E) J&K and Ladakh for providing Resource Persons for the training of employees of the J&K Funds Organisation regarding the General provident Fund (Central Services) Rules which have been implemented in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir from 31st October, 2019.
