Terrorist strike at police post in Anantnag area killing 5 CRPF and State police Personnel with grievous injuries to few others is excessively cowardly and provocative. They are not learning any lesson from past mistakes and stubbornly taking things for granted. Inhuman and dastardly act of terrorists warrants impromptu decisive counter strike. No sovereign state which is stable, strong , self independent and peace loving can afford to tolerate such nonsensical and provocative exploits against them. They are not mending ways but choosing to cause us grievous hurts at regular intervals. This has to be checkmated. A full majority Govt at the center and Governor holding the lever of power in the state cannot be held a hostage as hapless onlookers.
Our intractable neighbour is the major player, who is running a relentless low intensity war like campaign against us. This appears to be a planned preventive strike to stall the religiously and nationally most significant Shree Amar nath yatra which draws pilgrims from all over the national spectrum and gives a fillip to the spirit of National integration. Hackneyed approach will not work. Knee jerk reactions have already flopped without bringing about any fruitful result. The newly installed union Govt. has to take the final call keeping in view the sizzling public sentiment across the National horizon. Take your time, strategize wisely and administer the final blow.
