Three held along with brown Sugar, heroine, charas

Srinagar, May 25: Police today arrested three notorious drug peddlers and recovered brown sugar, heroine and charas from their possession in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A police spokesman said acting on specific information, police apprehended a notorious drug peddler identified as Javaid Ahmad Khoja during checking at Dardpora village of Kralpora in Kupwara. “One kilogram each Brown sugar and heroine was recovered from his possession,” he said.
The spokesman said police arrested two more drug peddlers along with charas from Bramri area of the district. They were identified as Bashir Ahmad Sheikh and Jahangir Ahmad Malla.
“Police have registered cases against these drug peddlers and further investigation has been taken up,” he added.
