UDHAMPUR, Dec 23: Thieves struck at a shop of Electronic goods near Police Post Manwal, here last night, even as they failed to burgle as locks of the shutter could not be broken from one side.
The shop, owned by one Romesh Kumar Gupta, is located hardly 100 meters away from the Police Post and the burglars broke open one of the locks of the shutter. As the thieves failed to enter the shop, they took away Motorcycle of the shop owner.
The matter came into light this morning and after being informed, Police team reached the spot and initiated investigation. The Motorcycle was later recovered from village Satradi. However, it was left badly damaged by the thieves.
A case in this regard has been registered at Police Station Majalta.
