JAMMU, June 3: Bus Stand Police arrested a thief along with stolen Rs 1.08 lakh cash.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged regarding snatching of a bag containing cash and accordingly a case under FIR Number 23/2022 under Section 382/IPC got registered in Police Station Bus Stand and investigation started.
To work out the case, a team from Police Station Bus Stand led by SHO Inspector Vishal Shoor was constituted under the supervision of SDPO North Sharad Kalu.
The team did strenuous efforts and arrested the thief, who was identified as Arun, a resident of Bihar.
On his disclosure, bag containing Rs 1.08 lakh cash was recovered.
