Thief arrested, 3 cattle recovered

SAMBA, May 27: Samba Police has worked out a cattle theft case and recovered all the three stolen cattle with the arrest of the thief.
Police said yesterday a written complaint was lodged at Ramgarh Police Station (PS) by two persons namely Kala, S/o Sat Pal and Bittu, S/o Amar Nath both R/o Chak Chhataka that some unknown thieves have stolen their three cattle during the intervening night of May 20 and 21 from the cattle sheds nearby their residence. Police said in their complaint they said all efforts have been made but not able to trace stolen cattle.
Acting swiftly on the compliant, a case FIR No. 56/2020 U/S 379 IPC was registered at PS Ramgarh and investigation started. During the investigation, Police team of Ramgarh got some vital clues and succeeded in the recovery of all the three stolen cattle from Majalta area of district Udhmapur. The cattle thief namely Sadam Hussain S/o Mohd Yaqoob R/o Lower Munda Doru, Anantnag has been arrested.
The people of the area appreciated the swift action of Police in the recovery of stolen cattle within 24 hours after lodging compliant.
