UDHAMPUR, July 5: With the arrest of accused and recovery of stolen items, Udhampur Police today worked out a theft case within 24 hours since it took place in a shop under the jurisdiction of Police Station Majalta in Ramnagar.
The arrested thief has been identified as Sohan Singh, son of Aijal Singh of Seona, tehsil Ramnagar. He was arrested by a Police team, headed by SI Chuni Lal Katoch.
On disclosure of the accused, stolen cash of Rs 70000 along with the important documents of the complainant were recovered.
