‘Teeza Wuzmal’ of Badri Nath Abhilash released

JAMMU, Apr 3: Badri Nath Abhilash’s devotional book of poetry ‘Teeza Wuzmal’ was released with divine enthusiasm here.
The book was released by Anand Swami Prem Nath Bhat Gharib, devotional poet, PN Trisal, Ramesh Hangloo, Director Radio Sharda, Dr R L Bhat, a critic and writer and D N Sopori.
The audio cassettes of the devotional songs written by Abhilash, Kong Teheji and Kali Heund Kosam were also released.
In his presidential address, Anand Swami Pran Bhat Gharib appealed to the community to learn the value of appreciating the personalities who choose to write on the draught of a tradition which we have inherited from our seers and saints.
Vijay Wali and Shiban Khaibri, noted critics read the papers on Abhilash’s book terming Abhilash a treasure in the exiled probation. They said that in displacement the devotional songs are one among the other reasons which gave us the strength to fight the odds and sustain under all circumstances. However we need to convey the same to the younger generations for the continuity of our rich ethos, they added.
The speakers threw light on the changing trends in the devotional poetry. ‘Badri Nath Abhilash is a born devotional poet and with the release of Teeza Wuzamal, he has established his natural literary existence. His book Khema Posh has already earned the genuine accolades and apprise us his hunt for Almighty’, they added.
Earlier, Deepti Pandita and Basanti Raina sang the devotional songs of Abhilash but the main attraction for the audience was the innocent and melodious voices of two Kashmiri Pandit Children Devanshi and Pranvi, who sang Abhilash’s songs giving the assurance that neither the devotional poetry nor the Kashmiri language will die down even under the crucial circumstances, we are passing through.
On the demand of the audience Badri Nath Abhilash thrilled them with singing leela in his own voice.
Ramesh Hangloo, Dr RL Bhat, DN Sopori, Prof PL Trichal, Prem Nath Shad and J L Sagar also spoke on the occasion.
The programme was conducted by News caster PK Raina.
Among others, Prof KL Tiku, BK Sanyasi, MK Santoshi, Kalhan Koul, RK Pandita, Anil Pandita, Deepak Raj Pandita, Sameer Ji Pandita, Rajinder Agosh, Aryan Ramesh and Kundan Paras were present on the occasion.
