JAMMU, Dec 20: A teenage boy drowned in river Chenab while saving calf in Jourian area, here today.
As per police sources, a youth identified as Amit Singh (19), son of Jai Singh of Jourian was drowned in river Chenab while saving calf in Jourian area.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started operation to fish out the body from the river.
The body was not retrieved from the river when last reports were compiled.
Jourian Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
