Teacher booked for cheating management, students

JAMMU, Nov 7: A teacher has been booked for cheating the management of Anuradha Public School and students.
As per police sources, on the directions of the court, a case under FIR Number 306/2020 under Section 420 IPC has been registered at Domana Police Station against teacher of the Anuradha Public School identified as Shiv Kumar Malla, son of Som Nath Malla, a resident of Bantalab, District Jammu.
The teacher has committed fraud to Anuradha Public School by making the duplicate stamps and signature of the Principal of School in the documents of Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE). He had also cheated the students by fraudulently taking money from them as examination fees and never deposited in the JKBOSE.
The accused accepted his crime before the President of Anuradha Educational Society namely Anuradha Singh, wife of KN Singh of Barnai and threatened to commit suicide if any legal action will be initiated against him.
Anuradha Singh approached the court and on the directions of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Jammu, the aforesaid case has been registered against Shiv Kumar Malla.
Hunt has been launched to nab the accused, as he went underground when came to know that a case of fraud, cheating and forgery has been registered against him at Domana Police Station.
