JAMMU, July 7: Tarun Singla, president of the Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA), was unanimously elected as the chairman of the Federation of Industries, Jammu (FOIJ), during a meeting of the Federation held today.
The meeting was attended by presidents and office bearers of the Federation's constituent industrial associations, who unanimously endorsed the new leadership in accordance with the provisions of the Federation's Constitution.
Besides Singla's election as chairman, the Federation also announced its new team of office bearers to represent various industrial associations across the Jammu region.
Virendra Jain (president of the Association of Industries, Gangyal), Jatinder Aul (president of the Association of Industries, Digiana), Gagan Jain (president of the Birpur Industries Association Ajit Lal Bawa (president of the SSI Association, Kathua) and Raman Jolly (president of the SSI Association, Samba) were elected as co-chairmen.
Sanjay Langer (general secretary of the Association of Industries, Gangyal) was elected as the secretary general of the Federation, while Sachin Kapoor (general secretary of the Bari Brahmana Industries Association) was elected as the convener.
