REASI, Feb 12: Swami Gurdeep Giri today delivered sermons on the teachings of Guru Ravi Dass Ji to a large congregation from all across the Reasi district, on the occasion of Murti Sathapana of Shri Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj at Gurudwara Mari Reasi.
Swami Gurdeep Giri said that all religions show different paths to reach the Almighty but all preach love, affection, care and selfless service. He said society must rise above caste considerations and work together for the upliftment and wellbeing of all, particularly those who are poor, downtrodden and backward. Those who preach hatred in the name of religion are devils, who do not understand religion and Godliness, he added.
Paying rich tributes to Guru Ravi Dass ji, he said that the Guru was an epitome of societal reforms and humanity. “Guru Ji worked tirelessly to create a world where all are equal and where love is the only bond of relationship between different human beings,” he added.
