Swabhiman organizes free medical-cum-awareness camp

JAMMU, May 26: As part of its ongoing series of free medical-cum-awareness camps, Swabhiman organized a free medical-cum-awareness camp today at Government Middle School, Tange Wali Gali, Kachi Chawni.
Senior Congress leader and former National General Secretary, All India Youth Congress (AIYC), Vikram Malhotra was the chief guest on the occasion, who inaugurated the camp in presence of a number of prominent citizens and Congress party workers.
Sandeep Mengi, Proprietor, Shri Maharishi Dayanand Hospital, was the guest of honour.
In his address, Vikram Malhotra emphasized on regular checkup and called upon people not to neglect any ailment even if it’s minor.
He also advised the gathering to fight the disease instead of hiding it and maintained that it could prove vulnerable at later stage if not diagnosed in time.
A team of specialist Doctors and other para-medical staff from Shri Maharishi Dayanand Charitable Hospital and Sood Eye Clinic provided free consultation as well as treatment to the patients and other people during the camp.
The doctors included Dr Pankaj Gupta, Dr Deepak Abrol, Dr Sunita Gupta, Dr Vipin Gupta, Dr Rishab Gupta, Dr S K Bali, Dr Satish Parihar and Dr Rohit Bhatia.
Among others present were Balveer Singh, Vinay Sharma, Ajay Kumar Khanna, Rani Devi, Meenakshi, Rajni Khanna, Daljeet Singh, Anju Sharma, Raj Singh, Jagdev Singh, Ram Sawroop Sharma, Shamsher Singh Slathia, Subash Singh Slathia.
