SRINAGAR, June 26: Sunny Raina was elected president of PM package employees of Vessu Migrant Camp Phase 1, the elections of which were held on Monday.
Raina a Junior Engineer by profession got 165 votes while his opponent Sunil Bhan also a JE got 39 votes out of 206 polled votes. Two votes were declared invalid.
Sunil Pandita was elected general secretary un opposed.
The election was conducted by Election Committee comprising of Sandeep Raina, Sandeep Koul, Sanjay Bhat, Kuldeep Jyotshi and Ajay Bhat.
Sunny assured the camp inmates that he will strive hard to solve the problems of package employees who have opted to serve in Kashmir Valley in 2010 and onwards.
