JAMMU, June 8: Trikuta Cricket & Football Academy (TCFA) defeated Sameer Cricket Club (SCC) by 164 runs in the opening match of Summer Cup-3, being organised by Trikuta Cricket & Football Academy at Railway Ground, here today.
SCC won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Batting first, TCFA scored a huge total of 247 runs for the loss of five wickets in 30 overs. Adhijai remained unbeaten at 81runs, while Ranvir scored 66 runs and Utkarsh made unbeaten 20 runs. From the bowling side, Saddiq took 3 wickets.
In reply, Sameer Cricket Club bundled out at 83 runs in 13.4 overs and lost the match by 164 runs. From the bowling side, Sanam took 3 wickets and made a hat trick, while Siddhanth also got 3 wickets and Abhishek and Anirudh shared 2 wickets each.
Adhijai was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance with the bat. The match was officiated by Balbir Singh and Ayush.
