JAMMU, Oct 17: Former Minster and MLA Marh Ch. Sukhnandan Kumar today kick started blacktopping of road at village Channu Chak under Model Village Scheme in Marh Constituency.
The blacktopping work will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 80.00 lakh.
Addressing the gathering Sukhnandan Kumar said the coalition is committed to overall development of the State and specially the rural areas. He asked the people of the area to take maximum benefit of the Government sponsored schemes launched by State as well as Central Governments.
In another function former Minister also laid foundation stone of a community Hall at village Sangrampur to be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 27.75 lakh.
Among others who were present on the occasion included Mandal president BJP Babu Ram Sharma, district vive president, Rural BJP, Harjeet Singh, ex Sarpanch Shamachak Ashok Kumar ex-Sarpanch Channu Chak and other prominent people of the area.
