JAMMU, Jan 19: Extending support to Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, Sikh United Front chairman Sudershan Singh Wazir declared that they will join the march when it enters Jammu and Kashmir.
At a joint press conference of Sikh United Front, along with some other Sikh organizations of J&K, held here today, Wazir and other members announced to accord a warm welcome to the Bharat Jodo Yatra on reaching Jammu.
Wazir appealed all the minority communities as well as Sikh community to come on one platform setting aside ideological differences and participate in the Bharat JodoYatra started by Rahul Gandhi. As Rahul Gandhi will reach Jammu and Kashmir UT we all should accompany him in huge number to make the Yatra a grand success, he added.
He said all like-minded parties should support Yatra. He lauded Gandhi for the march and appealed to people to join it in huge numbers to give a ”befitting reply to those who do politics of hatred and religion”. It is the need of the hours to be unite and counter the forces who are hell bent to divide the nation on communal basis.
