JAMMU, Oct 12: Vegetable and Fruits Association Sabzi Mandi Parade has unanimously elected Subash Chander Sharma as its president.
A handout stated that Association also elected Raman Singh (Sukhi) as its Vice President, Jeevan Sharma as General Secretary, Parshotam Kumar Sharma as Secretary, Kuldeep Kumar Sharma as Cashier and Ashwani Kumar Sharma as Publicity Secretary.
Apart from this the Association also elected nine members including Des Raj Sharma, Shiv Parkash Gupta, Chaman Lal Sharma, Surinder Gupta, Ramesh Gupta, Pawan Kumar Sharma, Balbir Kumar, Bittu Thathi and Puppy Kumar.
Speaking on the occasion the newly elected president assured the member that he will continue to address all the problems and issues of vegetable and fruits sellers.
The election was held under the supervision of S. Surinder Singh (Kala), president Vegetable & Fruit Association, New Sabzi Mandi Narwal, Ashok Honda, president Link Road Traders Association, Joginder Singh, Sarpanch & president Timber Traders Association, Raj Kumar Gupta (Raja), president Gowshala, Amphalla, Vijay Kumar Sharma and Bharat Bushan.
