The Other Backward Community (OBCs) have been struggling since long back for their constitutional rights. Right from 1947 upto now, no political party in the State has championed the cause of OBCs with sincerity.
More than them, it is the OBC leaders working with these parties that have let down the community. They have pursued their own cause rather than that of the community.
These parties express their solidarity with the OBCs during elections but do nothing later on. Whichever party has ruled the State, it has done nothing for OBCs.
It is appealed to OBC leaders to shun their personal interests, and work for the cause of the community. Many a time members of the State OBCs Advisory and Development Board were appealed to resign from their posts to show solidarity with the OBCs but no one heeded to the request.
