KATHUA, May 8: Stadium XI Kathua defeated Khalsa Cricket Club by a big margin of 135 runs in the ongoing JKCA’s Kathua District Cricket Tournament at Police Lines ground, here.
Batting first, Stadium XI scored a big total of 270 runs in 39.5 overs. Jatinder Singh and Rompy Sharma scored 71 and 66 runs respectively. From Khalsa Club, Chur Singh took 4 wickets, while Naresh bagged 2 wickets.
In reply, Khalsa Club bundled out for 135 runs in 18 overs to lose the match by 135 runs. Sher Ali and Munna contributed 37 and 29 runs to the total respectively. From Stadium XI, Maneet Singh took 4 wickets, while Tarsem Sharma claimed 3 wickets.
