Stadium-XI emerges winner in Hockey Tournament

JAMMU, Sept 28: Stadium-XI registered win over Cybernetic Secondary School Bandhu Rakh by 3-2 goals and clinched the title trophy of the Invergral Six a Side Hockey Tournament for U-17 boys, organized by Cybernetics Secondary School in collaboration with Society for Sports Bandhu Rakh, here.
For Stadium XI, Rajveer netted 2 goals and Arvind scored 1 goal, while for Cybernetic School, Kirandeep and Gursimran scored 1 goal each.
The chief guest on the valedictory function was Rajinder Singh (Kuku) Senior Vice President Hockey J&K and General Secretary Hockey India, while the guest of honour was Manmeet Singh Chairman Ranjit College of Education.
Mohan Singh, Kehar Singh, Raghbir Singh, Pritam Corporator Ward Number 55, Inspector Suresh Kumar I/c CISF, AC Jaswant Singh, Rashpal Singh Pintu, Gurcharan Singh, Onkar Singh Jamwal, Tejinder Singh Raju, Inderpal Singh and Tejpal Singh were also present on the occasion.
The match was officiated by Gurjeet Singh International Hockey Players, Agandeep Singh from SSB, Ajit Singh, Maninder Singh, Tanishpreet Singh and Harinder Pal Singh.
12 teams from different schools participated in this Tournament, which was conducted under the overall supervision of Tarandeep Singh alias Sanju.
