Shopian, Oct 31: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shriram Ambarkar today along with his team visited court complex Shopian and interacted with members of Bar Association.
The general issues regarding functioning of Criminal Justice System in the district were discussed threadbare and many decisions were taken on spot for efficient justice delivery to the public.
“Problems faced by prosecution wing were also highlighted and police chief of Shopian passed instant orders for appropriate redressal”, an official said.
The Bar Association members and senior advocates including Ghulam Hassan Dar, SM Iqbal, Syed Ajaz, Shabir Ahmad Kullay, Molvi Shabir, Mushtaq Ahmad Naiko, Mushtaq Ahmad Paul and others acknowledged the people friendly approach of Shopian Police.
The SSP Shopian assured the gathering of further improvement in the working of the Police in Shopian district.
