SSP seeks co-operation of general public to make society crime free

KISHTWAR, Aug 27: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rajinder Kumar Gupta has sought co-operation of the general public to make the society crime free.
He sought cooperation in a meeting, which he convened with the people from all sections of the society at Dool. SSP was accompanied by DySP Headquarters Kishtwar Nihar Ranjan and Incharge Police Post Dool Mohammad Iqbal.
In the meeting, various issues were raised by the people including Primary Health Centre for the area, shortage of electricity poles, deployment of sufficient police personnel at Shri Chandi Mata Madir, blacktopping of roads and preference to the engagement of local youth in Pakal Dool Project.
SSP Kishtwar assured that the demands pertaining to police department will be addressed on priority and the issues pertaining to other departments will be conveyed to the concerned departments.
Gupta urged upon the participants to cooperate and strengthen the hands of police so that the social crime like menace of drugs, bovine smuggling, use of illicit liquor and timber smuggling will be checked.
He asked for more co-operations from public so that a crime free atmosphere will be created. He also asked the participants to maintain peace and communal harmony in the area.
