JAMMU, Aug 1: State president, Shri Ram Sena (SRS), Rajiv Mahajan and State president, Kranti Dal (KD), Pritam Sharma in a joint statement today expressed serious concern over sufferings of Amarnath yatries due to ongoing strike for AIIMS in Jammu.
They said that we want AIIMS in Jammu but we are against the harassment of Amarnath Yatris. They appealed chairman of AIIMS Coordination Committee (ACC) and president, J&K High Court Bar Association, Abhinav Sharma, to ensure that Amarnath Yatris do not suffer due to the ongoing strike.
Both SRS and KD chiefs said that harassment of Amarnath pilgrims in Jammu sends wrong message in the country and will benefit those vested interests in Kashmir who are hell bent upon sabotaging the peaceful Amarnath Yatra as well agitation for AIIMS in Jammu.
Later, while talking on telephone with Rajiv Mahajan, ACC chairman assured that they also prefer for continuing Shri Amarnath and Vaishno Devi pilgrimage without harassment.
Abhinav appealed to pilgrims to meet coordination committee members if they face any sort of difficulties in pilgrimage or call on phone numbers– 9419175465, 9419192477 and 9419189855.
“We will immediately make appropriate arrangement to solve the problems of pilgrims,” Abhinav said. Abhinav also asked pilgrims to meet SRS and Kranti Dal State presidents or call them on phone numbers –9906300707 and 9419116124 to register their problems.
