JAMMU, June 11: A sport climbing event was organized during ongoing adventure camp at Apple Kids, Bantalab.
In the event, 75 campers from different institutions participated.
While the students of the host school swept all the medals, the campers from GD Goenka School, BSF School Paloura, Presentation Convent School and St Xavier Senior Secondary School gave them a good fight.
Himalayan group having students namely Daksh, Vaibhav and Saniksha claimed top position, whereas second position was secured by Everest Group having students namely Rajveer, Anmol and Kashish. The third position was secured by Tenzing Group having students namely Aditya Singh, Aryan Chandel and Akhilesh, whereas Shivalik Group having students namely Ritesh, Vaibhav and Rahul claimed fourth rank.
The competition was conducted by Anil Kumar, a sport climbing coach, Isha Singh and Poonam Mishra, both teachers of the school.
Ram Khajuria, Secretary Indian Mountaineering Foundation North Zone Committee and a national judge of the game was the chief guest on the occasion.
