SMVDSB CEO felicitates sportspersons

REASI, Aug 31: Sachin Kumar Vaishya, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), felicitated sportspersons of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sports Complex for their outstanding performances in athletics, football and judo.

The athletes were recognised for their commendable performances in the 24th J&K UT Athletics Championships held at the University of Jammu.

The CEO also felicitated the football team of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sports Complex for defeating the Khelo India Centre, Udhampur, in a match organised on National Sports Day. The winning team was presented with a trophy.

Congratulating the sportspersons, Vaishya appreciated their dedication, discipline and hard work and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence at national and international levels.

He also congratulated Danish Sharma, Judo Coach, for successfully earning the high-level technical course for coaches organised jointly by the International Olympic Committee and International Judo Federation.

The CEO said the achievements reflected the growing sporting culture at the Sports Complex. Among those present were Alok Kumar Maurya, Additional CEO; Satish Kumar Sharma, Joint CEO; Dhruv Gupta, Assistant CEO; coaches, sportspersons and other Shrine Board officials.
