RAMBAN, Feb 13: Police here today arrested a smuggler and recovered liquor from him.
After receiving information through a reliable source, PSI Dalbir Singh, Incharge Police Post Sangaldan along with cops apprehended one Joginder Singh son of Sher Singh resident of Silkund, Gool Ramban along with 31 bottles of JK Special Whisky each of 750 ml from him and Rs. 1500 which he had earned by selling the liquor illegally.
An FIR with No. 17 /2023 U/S 48(f) was registered at Police Station Gool in this regard and investigation started.
The recovery was carried out by PSI Dalbir Singh under the supervision of Inspector Nazir Ahmed, SHO Gool and Nihar Ranjan, SDPO Gool under the overall supervision of SP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
