Slathia inaugurates lanes, drains at Barota Camp

SAMBA, June 28: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Vijaypur and senior State vice president of National Conference Surjit Singh Slathia today inaugurated two lanes and drains at border village Barota Camp in Ramgarh area.
The lanes and drains were constructed by Block Development Vijaypur under the estimated cost of Rs 7.5 lakh which was very pending demand of the villagers.
On the occasion, Slathia listened problems being faced by villagers. The Sarpanch of the village Prem Paul Choudhary told that the major problem of this village is construction of Bandh which was damaged due to heavy rain and flood during rainy season in 2013 and some pension cases of old age and widow people’s etc.
In his address Slathia assured them that the work to construct the Bandh is going on war footing, some more pending lanes and drains would be constructed as soon as possible and the list of old age and widow pensioners would be released.
Slathia also appealed people to support National Conference in forthcoming assembly election for the overall development of the State.
