JAMMU, Jan 3: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology (SKUAST), Jammu employees’ cricket team defeated Jalgaon University Maharashtra by seven wickets, here today.
SKUAST-Jammu won its fourth match in the ongoing Vice Chancellor’s T-20 Cup tournament being played at Nagpur University Maharashtra. Batting first, Jalgaon University team was all-out at the score of 96 runs in their stipulated 20 overs in which Jatinder Patil scored 37 runs for his team. For SKUAST-Jammu, Niraj Manhas took three wickets and Kuldeep Singh chipped in two wickets.
Chasing down the target set by the Jalgaon University; SKUAST-Jammu chased the target in 12 overs with a magnificent half century (54 runs) by Niraj Manhas who was also declared as man of the match for his all-round performance.
