JAMMU, June 26: Six persons including a 2-months-old baby were injured today when two cars collided in Akhnoor area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, a Swift car bearing registration number JK11-0325 collided head on with an Alto K10 car (without registration number) at Daskal Morh in Akhnoor area. He said in the mishap, six persons were injured which were rushed to Sub District Hospital Akhnoor from where they were later referred to GMC Jammu.
The injured were identified as Parvez Bhatt (50) son of Mohd Din, Honey Manhas (21) son of Mahroof Manhas, Huma Mir (28) w/o Sahil Hamid, Sahil Hamid (35) son of Abdul Hamid, Hasan (2 months) son of Sahil Hamid and Nihal Mir (23) son of Zafar Mir, all residents of Rajouri.
The official said that a case in this connection was registered at police station Akhnoor and further investigations started.
