Srinagar, May 24: A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted by police to trace out a missing cop in Kashmir.
A police spokesman said Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir has issued the direction for constituting of the Special Investigation Team to trace out the missing constable Sameer Kumar. “Following the directions, SSP Srinagar Imtiyaz Ismail Parry constituted the team in order to expedite the tracing of missing constable,” he said.
As has been reported earlier, Constable Sameer Kumar had gone missing from his duties on 14th of this month. “Subsequently, a missing report was lodged in Police Station Sherghari and investigation was taken up to trace him out,” he added.
