JAMMU, Jan 16: In connection with celebrations of 355th Prakash Parb of 10th Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, a large ‘Nagar Kirtan’ was taken out from Singh Sabha Gurdwara, SImbal Camp today.
A large number of community members under the supervision of Mahant Manjeet Singh Ji of Dera Nangali Sahib, Poonch participated in the religious procession. Prominent religious personalities including Bhai Ravinder Singh, Akhand Kirtan Jatha Delhi Wale, Bhai Satnam Singh, Gurdaspur (Parcharak), Bhai Gurpreet Singh Johal, Bhai Harvinder Singh Parcharak SGPC, Bhai Joga Singh, Bhagoval Punjab, Bhai Ranjeet Singh (UP) Ragi Jatha Digiana Ashram, Bhai Rasvinder Singh, Bhai Harvinde Singh Incharge, Sikh Mission, Bhai Daljeet Singh Siikh Naujwan Sabha Simbal Camp, Bibi Gurpreet Kour and Bibi Manjeet Kour Kavishri Jatha also attended the programme.
The Nagar Kirtan was organized by Sikh Naujwan Sabha Simbal Camp with the cooperation of other organizations. The route of the Nagar Kirtan was Simbal Camp Tali Morh, Miransahib, Brij Nagar and it then culminated at Guru Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib, Indra Nagar. Many Ragies, preachers, poets recited Gurvani Path. The Gatka Parties from Punjab and Jammu exhibited their feats. The leaders of various Skih organizations of J&K political and social organizations also welcome the Nagar Kirtan.
Prominent among those who participated included Sudershan Singh Wazir, Chairman Sikh United Front J&K, Mohinder Singh, Darbinder Singh, Rajinder Singh, Raja Singh, Ravinder Singh Sarpanch, Kulwant Singh Khajuria and others.
