JAMMU, Apr 12: A shoes and clothing showroom, a salon and a boutique were damaged in fire at Last Morh Gandhi Nagar here.
As per police sources, fire broke out in a shoes and clothing showroom ‘Fashion Planet’ at Last Morh Gandhi Nagar, which later spread to the adjoining salon and boutique.

The showroom was owned by Ravi Kant Gupta, salon by Karanveer Singh and boutique by Meenakshi Gupta.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighters along with tenders reached the spot and after hectic efforts, doused the flames.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Gandhi Nagar Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
Meanwhile, a fire also broke out in a portion of SRTC yard near Bikram Chowk. Fire fighter along with tenders reached the spot and doused the flames.
No loss was reported in the incident.
