JAMMU, Sept 26: A shopkeeper was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Sua No. 1 area, falling under the jurisdiction of Kanachak police station.
As per police sources, a shopkeeper identified as Sunil Kumar (26), son of Rashpal Sharma of Sua No. 1 was found unconscious near his shop at Sua No 1.
On getting information, police team from Kanachak Police Station rushed to the spot and shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Kanachack police station and investigation started.
