Shodh Sansthan to hold religious function at Shadipora on Ganga Dussehra

JAMMU, May 5: Pt. Premnath Shastri Sanskritik Shodh Sansthan is performing religious rituals of those people who died during the last two years of COVID on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra falling on June 10 this year at Shadipora Tirath Raj in Ganderbal district of Kashmir Valley.

This was disclosed by the chairman of the Sansthan Pt. Omkar Nath Shastri, while talking to reporters here, today.
He said on the occasion the Sansthan is also holding a Mahayagya at the confluence of Jehlum and Sindh at Shadipora which has a great Puranic significance for Hindus all over the globe.
Shastri Ji said in this Maha Yagya the traditional Brahmins of Kashmir province will participate in the Maha Yagya. He also appealed the people from Hindu community to attend this religious function in large numbers to pay homage to those people who lost their lives due to dreaded Covid during last two years and pay for the peace of their eternal sole.
Shastri Ji also disclosed that the Shodh Sansthan is organising a programme at K K Resorts Bohri in connection with Prakash Mohatsav on May 8 in collaboration with Athrot which will be graced by Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh and other dignitaries.
He said a film on the life history and contribution of Prem Nath Shastri a doyen of Kashmiri culture will also be released. In addition to this, two books, the new addition of Parkash and Basic Pillars of Culture will also hit stands.
Pt Bushan Lal Shastri, Pt Avtar Krishan Shastri, Kuldeep Raina and Pardeep Sharma a social activist were present in the press conference.
