JAMMU, Dec 11: Vice Chairman Kissan Advisory Board R S Sharma distributed cheques amounting to Rs 1.95 lakh for the development of Kissans of block Nowshera for undertaking different activities in the field of agriculture under different schemes.
Kesho Ram son of Mooj Raj R/o Dandasar was issued cheque under RKVY for vermicompost unit and under district plan 3 cheques each of Rs 10,000 were issued to the farmers for establishment of irrigation pumps sets.
On the occasion, Vice Chairman (MoS) appreciated the services being given to the farmers by the Department of Agriculture in the remotest corner of the block.
The cheque were distributed in the presence of Sub Divisional Agriculture officer, R S Jamwal.
