Seva Dal holds meet

JAMMU, Dec 8: Seva Dal activists in a meeting here today held under the chairmanship of Jawahar Lal Kaul president J&K Minority Forum discussed various steps taken by it for the development of Durga Nag Shrine complex at Srinagar consisting of temples and a holy spring.
As per a release the meeting said that already various steps were taken for the renovation of the shrine and cleanliness of the holy spring and premises of the complex.
It said the spring has been fully renovated by installing Deviri stones around it and a large number of devotees including the activists of the Dal participated in the Kar Sewa. These steps were taken to restore the pristine glory of the shrine. It said a Shivlingam was also installed in the Centre of the holy shrine and a large number of the devotees attended the ceremony.
The meeting resolved to continue this mission to give a face lift to shrine and in this regard a project report has also been framed.
