RAMNAGAR, Oct 8: On the auspicious day of ‘Navratri’, Ramnagar branch of Senior Citizens Club Udhampur held a function here and launched the annual magazine ‘Aashayen-2021’ of the Club.
Speaking on the occasion Shiv Dev Singh, Club president apprized that the annual magazine is a record of activities that the Club undertook last year.
He also said that these activities inspired the society to work for the deserving societal section.
On this occasion, Senior Citizens Club president, Mahadeep Singh Jamwal extended good wishes through virtual mode and appealed general masses especially senior citizens to come forward in the service of the society as mere confining to four walls of their house is just dumping their experience which should be dispensed in the society for better contribution towards nation building and to the next generation.
The first copy of Magazine was presented to Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Ramnagar, Gopal Singh and to Sub Divisional Police Officer, Dr. Visham Dubey by a delegation of Club members headed by Shiv Dev Singh, president Ramnagar branch of the Club.
The Ramnagar administration congratulated the Club on the incredible effort put in by the Club in bringing the Magazine and appealed the Club to work forever for such societal interest.
