POONCH, Sept 24: District Development Commissioner Poonch has issued show cause notice to Superintending Engineer, Hydraulic Circle Poonch, for leaving the station without permission from the competent authority and continuously remaining on unauthorized absence.
As per the show cause notice, Superintending Engineer Rajinder Kumar Sharma unauthorizedly left the station on September 20, a day after his joining, without seeking station leave permission from the competent authority and was continuously absent from the station till date.
Issuing the notice, DDC Poonch, Inder Jeet has directed the SE to show cause as to why action warranted under Rules be not initiated against him.
“Whereas, it was told to you to review the tendering position of Jal Jeevan Mission and put up agenda for approval of District Jal Jeevan Mission. However, you, after joining on September 19, left the station without even bothering to have a firsthand review of the activities, status of the works and progress there-upon. This shows that you have not only taken directions of senior authorities casually but are also least interested in your official duties and responsibilities,” reads the show cause notice to SE Rajinder Sharma asking him to furnish his reply to the office of DDC Poonch within five day failing which action as warranted under the law shall be initiated against him.
