SDS delegation meets CAPD, Transport Minister

JAMMU, Mar 18:  A delegation of Sanatan Dharam Sabha (SDS), Handwara, led by vice-president Rajinder Raina and general secretary, MK Pandita along with a number of residents of Mohalla Kherman Nandram, met Minister for CAPD and Transport, Chowdhary Mohd Ramzan and apprised him of their burning problems.
The delegation apprised the Minister of the illegal occupation of land possessed by Durga Mandir, Kherman Nandram and illegal construction there. Besides, the Minister was apprised about the allotment of quarters constructed at village Nutnusa by Relief and Rehabilitation Department and allowing migrants to utilized the same, as transit camp.
The Minister was requested to take steps to get removed the illegal occupation of land and migrant properties.
The Minister gave on spot directions to the local revenue authorities to take immediate action to remove illegal encroachments in the area.
