SRINAGAR, Sept 28: The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) today rescued six persons who were stranded in the midst of tumultuous weather conditions in Manasbal Lake in Ganderbal district.
An official said that six persons were enjoying a boat ride on the serene Manasbal Lake when an unexpected bout of gusty winds swept over the area, causing panic and distress.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the SDRF swiftly mobilized its quick reaction teams to initiate a daring rescue operation.
Despite the adverse weather conditions, the SDRF teams exhibited unwavering dedication and professionalism. Their prompt and efficient response ensured the safe evacuation of all six persons to secure locations, preventing a potential disaster.
