JAMMU, June 28: Today SDM, Ghagwal, Narayan Dutt Sharma inspected various Ration Distribution Centres in Tehsil Ghagwal. He was accompanied by TSO Ghagwal Ashwani Sharma.
During the surprise inspection of various ration distribution centres, he checked the quantity of ration recieved and being issued to the ration card holders by the dealers. He directed TSO Ghagwal Ashwani Sharma and dealers to properly display the rate lists and scale of ration to be issued to the beneficiaries.
He also interacted with the people of the area who had come there for obtaining ration. People showed satisfaction in respect of distribution of ration to them. He asked the people that they can bring in his notice any type of problem at any time in respect of distribution of ration like overcharging, less distribution of ration than the prescribed scale, missbehaviour by dealers or any other problem faced by them.
It pertinent to mention here that some people have complained that dealers of some ration distribution centres are weighing less. Reacting to this SDM Ghagwal inspected weighing machines of some centers . However no such problem was found during inspection.
