This majestic river will certainly lose its pristine glory and significance in case steps are not taken to save it from pollution at the earliest.
The people need to be sensitised to keep it clean and not use it as a dustbin. This river is not merely the lifeline of Jammuites but also a tourist attraction.
Running through the heart of the city, it enhances its beauty. This magestic river needs to be kept clean at any cost. The steps suggested by the author in his write-up be given a due thought by the concerned people.
It is also suggested that no sewerage pipe should flow into it.
